Recently, Royal Interpack invested $40mm in a new PET bottle recycling and RPET extrusion facility located on 32 acres near the Port of Thailand. The company is utilizing the latest extrusion technology that works to remove all impurities and create a 100% recycled, FDA-approved, food-safe plastic that is made into multiple size containers designed to hold soft fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, tomatoes, cut fruits, salads and more. And here's the big sustainability benefit: these products can be recycled in perpetuity, so that their usefulness essentially never stops. The company has also implemented the track and trace program for supply chain traceability.
Royal Interpack has established strong relationships and partnerships with leading companies, and serves as a major supplier to growers and packers through the development and use of environmental material options including downgauging, or substantially reducing the amount of plastic in a product while maintaining its viability. The company also specializes in creating custom packaging solutions to meet the specific requests of customers seeking a unique product.
A PMA member since 2008, Royal Interpack relies on PMA to help promote exposure and provide marketing solutions for this rapidly growing organization. “We trust PMA to provide us with unmatched access to a diverse group of supply chain members to help expand our customer base,” says Radhika Chawla, adding that, “whether it's providing member lists or reading Fresh Magazine to learn about important industry trends and innovations, we rely on PMA equally for the expertise and market insight they offer us as an international company.”
